Disability Online Virtual Town Hall

On July 14, 2011 the White House held an online town hall meeting with representatives to answer questions, and to give people that are just now applying for disability insurance the chance to find out more about how the process works. Participants heard from advisers, including Kareem Dale who is special assistant to the president for disability policy and associate director of the Office of Public Engagement, among others. There is a special website set up if you have specific questions and couldn’t participate in the town hall meeting, which took place 1-2PM EST.
